Further details have emerged on Aston Villa’s failed swoop for Athletic Club standout Nico Williams, with the Daily Mail disclosing that they were willing to part with £45m for his release clause and sanction £120,000 per week in wages for the forward, who was uninterested in the move.

Relevo believe that Spain’s David Raya has received tentative enquiries from Manchester United, Tottenham and Chelsea regarding a summer switch from Brentford.

For the third successive day, Portuguese paper Record have a story on the future of Benfica’s in-demand World Cup winner Enzo Fernández, the latest being that while Chelsea are frontrunners for his signature, both Real Madrid and Barcelona are keeping very close tabs on the situation.
