Mid-week Premier League football is always exciting, and we have two more days of it to come.
But first letâs get round to the more important stuff, and get up to date with the latest transfer gossip.
AS are reporting that Real Madrid right back Alvaro Odriozola has arrived in Germany to complete a loan move to Bayern Munich for the rest of the season, although there is still some interest from Sevilla.
The 24-year old has only made four appearances for Zinedine Zidaneâs side this season but looks set to starting a new chapter with the German champions.
There may be a tug-of-war developing for Bristol City midfielder Josh Brownhill, according to the Bristol Post with Burnley, Leicester and Sheffield United all registering an interest in the 24-year old.
Not sure how a tug of war works between three parties but letâs say there will be a few calls taken at Ashton Gate this week.
Bournemouth may turn to former Chelsea forward Bertrand Traore to arrest their slide into the Championship, although will have to pay ÂŁ35m to sign the Lyon player, say The Mail.
The Mail are also reporting that a bookmaker has suspended betting on Gareth Bale making a return to Tottenham Hotspur.
Now, it does seem likely that at some point the Welsh forward will leave the BernabĂ©u, particularly because he isnât wanted by Zidane.
But a move back to Spurs in this transfer window for the 30-year old seems far too far-fetched. With that huge stadium to pay for and a few of the star players having contract issues to deal with may not leave room for Baleâs astronomical wages.
The Daily Star have ran with Barcelonaâs interest in Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, to replace the injured Luis Suarez.
Arsenalâs top goalscorer is contracted to the club until the end of 2021 so the time is coming where the North London club need to make a decision on the 30-year oldâs future.
Although Marca are reporting that Barcelona may attempt to bring in former-Bolton striker Rodrigo Moreno instead of Aubameyang.
Rodrigo, 28, now plays for Valencia but is expected to cost upwards of âŹ60m.
Former Manchester United striker Javier HernĂ ndez completed a ÂŁ7.2m move from Sevilla to MLS side LA Galaxy.
Newcastle United made their first move of the transfer window, bringing in former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Nabil Bentaleb on loan from Schalke 04.
Sheffield United may be about to turn Jack Robinson into another overlapping centre-half, after signing the Nottingham Forest defender for ÂŁ1m.
