Domestic deals

Chelsea are set to return with a third bid for Leicester defender Wesley Fofana, report the Daily Mail. The west London club’s last bid of around £65m was reportedly rejected.

Manchester United are yet to agree personal terms with Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot but the two clubs have agreed a fee, according to Carlo Laudisa.

Manchester City are closing in on the €15m signing of Sergio Gómez according to Fabrizio Romano, while Sky Sports report that Borussia Dormund’s Raphaël Guerreiro could also be a target for the Premier League champions.

And 90min report that Newcastle have made an enquiry about Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher after he impressed on loan at Crystal Palace last season.

On the continent

Paris Saint-Germain are close to agreeing a deal to sign Fabián Ruíz with goalkeeper Keylor Navas potentially moving to Napoli as part of the deal, reports Fabrizio Romano.

And L’Equipe report that PSG have switched their attention to RB Leipzig defender Mohamed Simakan after being unable to agree a deal for Inter centre-back Milan Škriniar.

RB Leipzig sensation Christopher Nkunku has emerged as a target for Bayern Munich according to Sport1 but the French forward won’t be going anywhere until next summer at the earliest.

And Marseille remain in talks with Manchester United over the transfer of Eric Bailly, with L’Equipe reporting that the Premier League club are hoping to sell the defender permanently.
