From Wednesday 4 January to Saturday 14 January, Sebastian Rode, Kevin Trapp, Mario Götze and Co. will enjoy perfect conditions in Dubai as they gear up for the resumption of the Bundesliga season ahead of their Matchday 16 clash against FC Schalke 04 on Saturday 21 January (kick-off: 15:30 CET), as well as the upcoming games in the DFB Cup and the UEFA Champions League. The team’s training sessions in Dubai will take place at the Nad al Sheba Sports Complex, while two friendlies will also be organised on-site.

“Given the huge workload in the first half of the season and the forthcoming challenges in spring, it’s all the more important to be able to completely focus on sporting matters under stable conditions,” said Glasner. “In terms of the reliability of the weather, the quality of the pitches and the infrastructure, we’ll have perfect conditions there.”

Eintracht have previously enjoyed positive experiences in the United Arab Emirates, having held their winter training camps in Abu Dhabi between 2013 and 2017 as they prepared for the second halves of the respective seasons.
