Eintracht’s ADIDAS U.S. TOUR – the next phase of their preparations for the 2025/26 season – gets under way on Tuesday. Here’s an overview of the Eagles’ movements.
Eintracht Frankfurt embark on their ADIDAS U.S. TOUR on Tuesday. The Eagles’ first stop is Louisville, Kentucky – a familiar setting for the Eagles, who set up camp on the Ohio River last summer and “laid the foundation for a strong first half of the season”, in the words of Markus Krösche. “We were very pleased with the conditions there,” added Eintracht’s board member for sport. “That’s why we’ve chosen to go there again.”
Eintracht embark on their ADIDAS U.S. TOUR on Tuesday 22 July, just three days after facing city rivals FSV Frankfurt in a friendly.
On Wednesday morning – a day after their arrival in the USA – head coach Dino Toppmöller’s team will get to work at the Lynn Family Sports Vision & Training Center. Sporting director Timmo Hardung is delighted with the “exceptional conditions” at the sports complex, which is home to the Louisville City FC men’s team and the Racing Louisville FC women’s side. The Eagles could hardly wish for a better place to prepare for the challenges of the 2025/26 season, not to mention their two upcoming friendlies at the Lynn Family Stadium.
The games against Villa, who finished sixth in the English Premier League last season, and the Eagles’ hosts, who are currently second in the Eastern Conference of the second-tier USL Championship, will be shown live on EintrachtTV+.
The day after their friendly against LouCity FC, Eintracht are leaving Kentucky for Philadelphia. “It’s a city with a long football history, Frankfurt’s sister city and one of the host cities of the 2026 World Cup,” Krösche said of the Pennsylvanian metropolis, which has been twinned with Frankfurt for over a decade.
Philadelphia friendly marks ten-year anniversary
The clash with MLS outfit Philadelphia Union on Saturday 2 August (17:30 local time) not only rounds off the training camp but marks the ten-year anniversary of the cities’ partnership. EintrachtTV+ will bring you all the action live from Subaru Park. “The match will be a real test at the end of our training camp, and we’re looking forward to it,” said Hardung. Representatives of Eintracht’s Fans & Fan Culture department have set up a special WhatsApp group for all Eintracht fans during the ADIDAS U.S. TOUR, in which the latest information will be shared (click here to access the WhatsApp group).
