Tractor Boys earn first league win of 2025 | OneFootball

Ipswich Town earned their first Premier League win of 2025 with a 2-1 victory of Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.

It's been a tough time for Ipswich fans lately but they had something to cheer about with a rare win on the south coast.

The visitors took the lead in the 34th minute when Julio Enciso found Nathan Broadhead who slotted the ball under Kepa Arrizabalaga.

It was 2-0 after an impressive team goal that saw Ipswich go from defence to attack in quick time with Liam Delap exchanging passes with Conor Townsend before the forward finished neatly.

The Cherries had plenty of efforts throughout the game and on another night probably would have scored more but they did pull one back soon after Delap's effort thanks to Evanilson putting the final touch to what was in truth a scrappy goal.

Kiernan McKenna's side managed to avoid a late fightback from the Cherries to claim all three points. The Tractor Boys are now nine points off Wolverhampton Wanderers, it's probably still far too much of a gap to make up before the end of the season but this result may give fans some slight hope.
