Trabzonspor were interested in Everton attacker Andros Townsend last week.

Turkey's transfer window shut on Thursday.

Fanatik says Trabzonspor made an initial approach for the winger, but pulled back due to his injury concerns.

Townsend is recovering from an ACL injury, which is expected to see him not back in action until October.

The 31 year-old is inside the final year of his current deal at Everton.
