Toulouse predicted XI v Lyon: Zakaria Aboukhlal returns to squad | OneFootball

Zakaria Aboukhlal suffered a knee injury during a match against Union Saint-Gilloise back in September. The Moroccan underwent surgery and has since been on the long road back to recovery, with Toulouse FC stating at the time that he would likely be absent for several months.

For the first time since that injury, Aboukhlal has been included in a matchday squad. Whilst he won’t start against Olympique Lyonnais, he will harbour hopes of making an appearance off the bench. One player who didn’t make the squad is Moussa Diarra, who is recovering from injury. Ibrahim Cissoko and Niklas Schmidt have also been left out by Carles Martinez Novell. Mikkel Desler for Warren Kamanzi is expected to be the only change to the side that lost to Le Havre AC last weekend.
