Toulouse predicted XI v Linz ASK: captain Vincent Sierro to return | OneFootball

Despite being handed the armband, Vincent Sierro hasn’t cemented his place in the starting XI this season, however, he will come in for the ineligible Stijn Spierings against Linz ASK in the Europa League on Thursday.

Spierings left Toulouse to join RC Lens on a free transfer in the summer, however, he had difficulty assimilating and swiftly made a return to his former club as a ‘joker.’ However, he didn’t do so quickly enough in able to be registered in Le TéFéCé’s Europa League squad. Sierro, who has been booed at times by his own supporters in what has been a difficult start to the season for the Swiss midfielder, will return to the starting lineup.

Toulouse’s major absentee is Zakaria Aboukhlal, who according to his club, is unlikely to feature again this season.
