According to Le Parisien, Toulouse are interested in making a move for the former Stade Rennais midfielder Yann Gboho (22).
Gboho was born in the Ivory Coast but represented France from the under-16s to the under-18s age bracket. The midfielder graduated in the Rennes academy system but made the swap to Belgium on loan to Vitesse before making his move permanent with a transfer to Cercle Brugge in 2022.
However, a transfer to Toulouse in this window could see Gboho back in Ligue 1. The club consider his profile to be the perfect fit for making an immediate impact on the first team and hopes that the player can help revitalise their attacking line.
There are still some details to be ironed out between Toulouse and Brugge, but the player could be ready soon to provide attacking impetus for the team’s end-of-season challenges; namely to remain in Ligue 1 and to overcome a difficult playoff tie against Benfica in the Europa League to continue their progress in the competition.
