Toulouse won their third successive match in Ligue 1 Uber Eats after coming from a goal behind against OGC Nice to win 2-1 at home thanks to goals from Thijs Dallinga and Yann Gboho.

It was the visitors who opened the scoring within the first ten minutes of the contest via Terem Moffi for his first goal in Ligue 1 Uber Eats since December. The Nigerian profited off a dangerous low cross put into the box by Guessand which rebounded off TFC goalkeeper Restes, and was on hand to slot home into an open net (8').

Les Violets reacted to going behind, and Seiro had a glorious chance to level proceedings only a few minutes later yet his strike from the edge of the box couldn't test Nice shot-stopper Bulka (10').

The home side's pressing was starting to cause some issues for Nice including a chance from Dønnum, but Les Aiglons managed to hold their lead until the break. The home side started to pile on the pressure in the second half with five corners for TFC in a row, one of which saw Spierings force Marcin Bulka into a vital save just before the hour mark (58'). Les Aiglons responded with a rare chance of their own through Jeremie Boga's low strike, but Restes was on hand to parry it safely away from danger (62').

The pressure paid off for the hosts, as Warren Kamanzi was gifted the ball in the Nice half and delivered a pinpoint cross into Thijs Dalinga who poked home instinctively to level the score for Toulouse (65'). The Toulouse Stadium would erupt a second time, thanks to Yann Gboho who received the ball inside the box, and held off Rosario assertively before lashing a strike into the roof of the net to take the lead for Les Violets (69') - Dallinga grabbing the assist following his first strike.

The final phase of the match would see Les Aiglons try to get back into the contest, with a long-range strike from Alexis Claud-Maurice being flicked over the bar by Restes in the final minutes of normal time (89') with Mohamed Ali-Cho also coming close. Yet the home side saw out the match for a vital win, condemning Nice to a third successive defeat in Ligue 1, their 6th this season.

THE PLAYER: Thijs Dallinga

The flying Dutchman was vital for Toulouse, showing great reactivity to poke home the equaliser (his second goal in two games and 10th goal of the season), before providing the assist for Gboho's winner only several minutes later.

THE STAT

As the final whistle blew, Toulouse clinched a third successive win in Ligue 1 Uber Eats, their best run of games in the top tier since August-September 2018. On the other hand, Nice complete a run of three defeats and are now the only team in France's top five leagues to not earn a single point after going behind.
