Our boys checked into their hotel in Pinzgau on Sunday for an eight-day training camp at the Hotel Gut Brandlhof complex. Tomorrow at 18:00 CET we are to contest the first of two friendly matches being held during the camp. We are to face Polish runners-up Legia Warsaw in the SaalfeldenArena.
Three of our internationals in Amar Dedic, Maurits Kjaergaard and Strahinja Pavlovic have now joined up with the rest of the squad. The trio might well be able to gain their first playing time of pre-season tomorrow. The team from the Polish capital are a little further ahead with their preparations, winning all three of their friendly matches so far. The team coached by Kosta Runjaic, who was born in Vienna, appear to be hitting the kind of form they will need to produce two weeks from now. The Polish cup winners have a Super Cup clash against Rakow Czestochowa ahead - with Kamil Piatkowski's former side winning their first title by an impressive nine-point cushion.
The Legionisci have nothing to worry about when it comes to domestic records, however, with 15 league titles and 20 cup wins. At the end of July they are set for the second round of UEFA Europa Conference League qualifying against Kazakhstan's cup winners Ordabasy.
Want to be there to watch our Red Bulls' second warm-up in person? No problem - children up the age of 15 can get tickets for a reduced price of € 10–, while full price tickets are available for € 15–. You can also follow the clash on a free RBS TV live stream.
