Raheem Sterling could walk away from Chelsea for free this summer despite having two years left on his contract according to reports
The Blues are set for another busy summer and have already completed the signing of Liam Delap from Ipswich for £30m.
Delap won’t be the only new arrival, with Chelsea looking to sign a versatile forward, left winger and centre back to strengthen Enzo Maresca’s squad.
Whilst incomings are important, outgoings are also vital and Chelsea have a number of players who are surplus to requirements and need to be moved on.
Sterling falls into that category and the 30-year-old has no future at Stamford Bridge, with Chelsea desperate to get his reported £300,000 per week wages off their books.
It was made clear to Sterling he wasn’t part of the plans and he completed a deadline day loan move to rivals Arsenal last summer.

Sterling failed to make an impact at the Emirates and scored one goal in 28 appearances in all competitions and has now returned to Chelsea.
The Blues need to find Sterling a new home, and he could leave for free according to football finance expert Stefan Borson.
“Who buys Raheem Sterling this summer? With the best will in the world, he either goes to Saudi Arabia or Chelsea are effectively subsidising the deal. That’s the answer,” he told Football Insider.
“I don’t know whether he’s interested in going to Saudi Arabia. He’s 31 in December. Obviously, he’s got a young family. Does he want to go to Saudi Arabia? I don’t know.

“If he doesn’t, Chelsea are going to have to expect to get zero transfer fee and pay at least half his wages.
“I think it’s going to be a tough situation for Sterling and Chelsea.”
As many as ten players could leave Chelsea this summer as the Blues look to raise money to fund their business in the window.
Ben Chilwell is another high earner Chelsea are desperate to offload, whilst Kepa Arrizabalaga is on the verge of joining Arsenal.
The likes of Axel Disasi, Renato Veiga and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall are candidates to leave and it will be interesting to see how many players Chelsea are able to sell.
