Celtic Park once more hosted a special Touch the Trophies event in the Paradise boardroom as Visually Impaired supporters had the chance to feel what it’s like to get their hands on the silverware their heroes lifted last season

The special Sensory Session was also held last year, and this time around the fans from the Visually Impaired Section got to meet some of the other stars of the show - the Premiership trophy, the Scottish Cup and Celtic FC Women’s SPWL championship trophy.

And there was an extra-special surprise as the Visually Impaired supporters and Erskine Care Home members were joined by Portuguese Celt, Paulo Bernardo at the event.

The fans got the opportunity to meet the Celt on his return to the club and also hold the trophies that he and his team-mates held aloft after winning the league and Scottish Cup Double in May.

The midfielder said: “We enjoyed the moment there and I think they are enjoying this now.

“It’s their club, the fans are the club and they are amazing.

“I’m really glad to be part of this event because I think all the people should have these moments.”
