Talks were held with Sampdoria regarding a move for Bryan Gil, with the Serie A side having discussed a loan move. There is a chance of a move to Italy, after he spent the second half of the previous season on a loan deal back in Spain.
Defender Joe Rodon was also subject of talks, but was discussed with Roma. Jose Mourinho appreciated the Welshman during his time at Spurs, who are currently open to a temporary sale of the player. Mourinho still appreciates the defender and he could be a target for the Giallorossi.
