Tottenham Hotspur would be willing to allow defender Japhet Tanganga to leave on loan amid Inter and AC Milan interest, but would only want to do so if there were a purchase obligation included in the deal.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Premier League side would not want to send the 23-year-old out on a dry loan or a loan deal containing just a purchase option.

Inter are still on the lookout for one more defensive signing to reinforce the depth of their backline, and Tanganga is one of the players on their radar as a possible low-cost arrival.

However, the Nerazzurri would prefer to sign the Englishman on loan rather than on a permanent basis, whilst city rivals Milan are also keen on his signature.

On Tottenham’s part, however, they would want any loan deal to contain an obligation to purchase Tanganga permanently.
