Tottenham are weighing up a move for Palmeiras wing-back Gabriel Menino.
Sky Sports says Tottenham have turned their attention to South America due to a rule change following Brexit.
There are new work permit rules for players from the continent, leading manager Jose Mourinho's scouting team to Palmeiras midfielder Menino, who is currently valued at £12m.
The 20-year-old was called up to the senior Brazil squad last year, and started in Palmeiras' recent Copa Libertadores triumph.
Menino is not believed to be an active target for Tottenham, but he is one they have cast their eye over.
And with the ability to play at right-back and plenty of potential to grow into, he would certainly be one to keep that eye on over the next few months.
