Tottenham Hotspur host Leicester City in the Premier League this afternoon
Ange Postecoglou’s side are struggling in the league right now and are without a win in six games. That run includes five losses, leaving Spurs 15th in the table.
However, Spurs secured a morale-boosting win at Hoffenheim in the Europa League on Thursday night. A 3-2 win in Germany has left the North Londoners on the brink of progress to the Round of 16.
Their opponents, Leicester, arrive in the capital in torrid form. The Foxes have lost seven straight games in the Premier League and are mired in the relegation places. Ruud van Nistelrooy was subject of frustration from the fanbase last weekend after a tough start to his tenure at the King Power Stadium.
Ange Postecoglou is again short of options with as many as 11 first-team players unavailable for selection. First-choice goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario remains out with an ankle injury, though Antonin Kinsky is free to return after being ineligible in Europe.
Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven, Brennan Johnson and Dominic Solanke are the other high-profile absentees for Spurs.
Djed Spence and Pape Matar Sarr face fitness tests ahead of the clash, though Yves Bissouma is set to return to bolster the midfield.
Tottenham predicted XI: Kinsky; Porro, Dragusin, Gray, Davies; Bentancur, Bissouma, Maddison; Kulusevski, Richarlison, Son.
Tottenham host Leicester in the Premier League on Sunday 26th January 2025. Kick-off at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will be at 14:00 GMT.
Tottenham vs Leicester will not be televised in the United Kingdom.
