Club captain Heung-min Son was absent for that trip to Germany and hasn’t recovered in time for tonight’s contest. The 32-year-old wasn’t spotted in training at Hotspur Way, with a persistent foot injury still causing him issues.

Aside from Son and long-term absentee Radu Dragusin, every Spurs senior player is fit. January signing Antonin Kinsky is ineligible tonight as the young goalkeeper wasn’t included in Tottenham’s European squad.

Bodo/Glimt have already made history this season as they became the first Norwegian club to reach a European semi-final after beating Lazio on penalties in the quarter-finals.

However, manager Kjetil Knutsen will have to deal with several significant setbacks in his team selection. Central midfielders Patrick Berg and Hakon Evjen are both suspended alongside striker Andreas Helmersen who was sent off against Lazio.

Odin Luras Bjortuft is a doubt after being forced off KFUM with a suspected groin injury on Sunday.

Form

Tottenham: DLWLL

It was a familiar feeling for Tottenham on Sunday after they were heavily defeated by Liverpool at Anfield.

Dominic Solanke briefly threatened the title-winning celebrations by heading in the opener in the 11th minute.

But Arne Slot’s side emphatically responded and the Reds eventually won 5-1, which confirmed them as Premier League champions.

Tottenham’s focus has solely been on their European exploits for several weeks. It is their second European semi-final of the 21st century and manager Ange Postecoglou will be hoping his players can bring an advantage with them into the return leg next Thursday.

Bodo/Glimt: WLDWW

Bodo/Glimt have commenced their league campaign in style and are currently unbeaten after four games.

At the weekend, they left it late against KFUM to score three times in the final 10 minutes. Kasper Waarts Hogh came off the bench to score a brace and boost his chances of earning a starting spot this evening.

The Norwegian outfit’s unwavering spirit has seen them dispatch Olympiacos, Besiktas and Lazio this campaign.

Kjetil Knutsen’s team knocked out the latter in the quarter-finals, despite losing 3-1 in the second leg in Rome. They held their nerve in the penalty shootout to prevail in the hostile Italian atmosphere.

Midfielder Ulrek Saltnes scored twice in the first leg against Lazio while also netting at the weekend. The 32-year-old is a Glimt legend as he approaches 400 appearances for the club.
