This January transfer window, Paris Saint-Germain offloaded Randal Kolo Muani to Juventus as the Frenchman joined the Serie A side on a loan deal for the rest of the 2024-25 season. Juventus wasn’t the only club keen on the player, as he also drew interest from Tottenham Hotspur.
Kolo Muani joins Thiago Motta’s squad in Turin as a key addition, bringing both quality and experience to the attack, whether playing centrally or out wide. His versatility and skill will undoubtedly be an asset for the Bianconeri.
Moreover, the 26-year-old has hit the ground running in Italy as he’s recorded three goals in two league matches. If Kolo Muani continues this form, then PSG could sell him without issues and recoup a good portion of the €95 million they paid for in 2023.

With Kolo Muani in good form and Juventus probably not looking to spend a lot of money to keep him long-term, could a Premier League move be in the cards for the striker? On the latest episode of PSG Talking, Football Transfer’s Robin Bairner gave his thoughts on the loanee’s future.
“Yeah, it’d be really interesting to see what happens with Kolo Muani over the next three or four months. He’s obviously gone to Juventus and has really hit the ground running. Last weekend, he scored against Napoli, the Serie A leaders, and today, he scored twice against Empoli. So he’s got three goals in less than two full matches there. That’s the form that led to PSG spending so much money on him.
“Now, he clearly didn’t fit at PSG, but if he continues to score with Juventus at a high rate and impress in Serie A, teams are absolutely going to be interested in him. We’ve seen so many strikers come onto the market this January—or rather, not come onto the market. There are a whole bunch of strikers top teams are interested in.
“Just to name a few: Victor Osimhen, Viktor Gyökeres, and Benjamin Šeško. It feels like too many clubs are wrestling to sign these strikers, and Kolo Muani will have to come into the equation somewhere in the summer. If he continues to score, maybe reaching 10 goals in Serie A, that would be an outstanding return.
“Then, of course, I think you have to see somebody like Tottenham being interested. I don’t think Tottenham would pay €90 million or anything close to that because they’re known for being shrewd—not quite penny-pinching, though that might be a bit too strong—but really trying to extract maximum value in the transfer market.
“I don’t think Tottenham would necessarily be the team PSG would look to sell big to, but you certainly see potential interest from Chelsea… But yeah, there are absolutely teams in the Premier League desperate for a striker, and Kolo Muani has to come into contention there.”
