Tottenham Hotspur have turned to Paulo Fonseca in their search for a new manager.
The Portuguese left Roma last summer after an unsuccessful season in Serie A, but he did guide them to the Europa League semi-finals.
Spurs have missed out on Mauricio Pochettino and Antonio Conte this summer.
Now multiple reports in the UK are claiming that Spurs' incoming sporting director Fabio Paratici has identified Fonseca as their next target.
The 48-year-old made a name for himself coaching Shakhtar Donetsk.
Fonseca spent three years in Ukraine before two years at Roma.
Interestingly, Fonseca was replaced at Stadio Olimpico by Jose Mourinho, who was sacked by Spurs in April.
