Les Aiglons are depluming. Sporting director Florent Ghiolsfi has already left OGC Nice. AS Roma have already confirmed his arrival, whilst Francesco Farioli’s move to Ajax is expected to be completed imminently. There will be player departures too. Jean-Clair Todibo (24) is the most obvious candidate for a departure and according to Nice-Matin, Tottenham Hotspur are expected to reignite their interest this summer.

The North London side showed considerable interest in Todibo in January, however, keen to retain the France international and push for a return to Europe, Nice gave him a hefty €60m price tag in order to deter suitors. It worked. Todibo stayed and Les Aiglons did return to Europe, securing qualification for the UEFA Europa League.

However, it is now seemingly time for Todibo to depart. The Frenchman, speaking towards the end of the season, seemed resigned to a departure, whilst Nice too believe that now may be the right time to cash in. As well as Tottenham, whose interest will be reignited, Manchester United, Juventus and AC Milan could all make moves for the €40m-rated centre-back.
