According to Foot Mercato, Tottenham Hotspur are targeting Rennes forward Martin Terrier (25), and have even made an offer to the Frenchman.
Terrier is currently enjoying his most prolific season in Ligue 1. With 21 goals, he sits behind only Wissam Ben Yedder (31) and Kylian Mbappé (23) in the race for the golden boot, whilst his performances have led to calls, notably from Thierry Henry, for him to be called up to the French squad.
Foot Mercato are now reporting that Tottenham “really like” Terrier and have even made him an offer. “It remains to be seen,” what Rennes’ response will be. The Breton side could qualify for the Champions League next season, and Terrier also has a contract until 2025.
Questioned on his future by Prime Video, Terrier said, “We’ll see how things go at the end of the season, but I’m under contract here until 2025. I have blossomed here and I’m happy to be here.”
