Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly plotting a move for Bayern Munich midfielder João Palhinha, just as Los Angeles FC have made contact over a blockbuster bid for Heung-min Son, according to reports from the Telegraph's Mike McGrath.
Spurs are interested in bolstering their midfield with Palhinha, a player long admired for his combative style. Simultaneously, LAFC are attempting to lure Son Heung-min to Major League Soccer in what would be one of the biggest signings in league history.
Palhinha, 30, joined Bayern Munich last summer after impressing at Fulham during the 2023/24 season but struggled to make an impact with the Bundesliga side. Now, Tottenham appear ready to revive Premier League interest in the Portuguese international as they seek to reinforce Thomas Frank's midfield.
Meanwhile, across the Atlantic, LAFC are looking to make waves by approaching Son Heung-min about a potential summer transfer. According to Fabrizio Romano, the talks are in the very early stages, but LAFC have serious intentions of bringing the South Korean star stateside.
