Tottenham are not interested in losing Steven Bergwijn on the cheap.

ESPN says the London club are still negotiating with Ajax for a possible sale of the winger.

Bergwijn, who has also played as a forward under boss Antonio Conte, scored two goals in a dramatic 3-2 win over Leicester City in the Premier League recently.

If Spurs are to sell Bergwijn to Dutch giants Ajax, they will only do so if the club pays most of the €32 million it cost to sign Bergwijn from PSV Eindhoven in January 2020.

The 24-year-old is someone that manager Conte is happy to use until the end of the season.
