Pape Sarr is fast becoming Tottenham’s man of the moment in the Europa League.
Fresh from racking up a goal during last week’s opening win over Qarabağ, the Senegalese midfielder was back at it against Ferencváros.
Breaking the deadlock midway through the first half, Sarr etched his name into modern Spurs folklore with a second goal in as many Europa appearances.
Not since Dimitar Berbatov in October 2006 has any Lilywhites’ player enjoyed such an impact on opening back-to-back outings in the competition.
Talk about illustrious company.
