Tottenham signing Gollini delighted to join 'massive club'

New Tottenham goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini admits he is delighted to join such a massive club in the Premier League.

The Italy international arrives in North London on an initial loan deal, which Spurs can extend or make permanent in the summer.

The 26-year-old has a lot of experience in Serie A and will be expecting to challenge no.1 Hugo Lloris this season.

If he performs to expectations, he may even take on the starting spot from Lloris at the end of the coming season.

"This is an amazing feeling," said Pierluigi, per the club's website.

"I'm very happy for this opportunity. It's a massive club, a very good chance for me, a big chance.

"I'm really blessed and proud to be here. I'm so happy just to be part of this club and to join this team of great players."
