The Mirror claims that Tottenham will break their transfer record for a second time in the summer window by signing Giovani Lo Celso.

The Argentine was brilliant for Real Betis last season and played for the national side during the Copa America.

The 23-year-old attacking midfielder is rated at £70million (h/t Mirror), and wants a move to Tottenham.

The report claims that Lo Celso wants to play under Mauricio Pochettino and Betis are close to landing a replacement for the midfielder.

Lyon’s Nabil Fekir could be on his way to the La Liga club, and Pochettino is desperate to land Lo Celso after signing Tanguy Ndombele for £65m (h/t Mirror).

The French midfielder was one of the best in Ligue 1 and is now a regular for the national side.

Tottenham need another attacker to join in the summer

Spurs have also signed Jack Clarke from Leeds United, however, the winger has returned to the Championship side for a season-long loan.

Pochettino could do with another attacking midfielder in the side, and Lo Celso is versatile enough to play in several positions.

The 23-year-old also has the potential to improve further under our manager, and it will be interesting to see who we sign next.
