Tottenham Women beat Southampton Women convincingly to progress into the next round of the Continental Cup.

Tottenham opened the scoring with a strike from Ramona Petzelberger which found the back of the net after a slight deflection.

Spurs doubled their advantage in the second half when Charlotte Grant tapped home her first goal for the club.

Grace Clinton then wrapped up the win for Robert Vilahamn’s side with a thumping effort from distance.

The win sees Tottenham finish second in their group behind fierce rivals Arsenal.
