Spurs coach signs new three-year deal
Tottenham Women boss Robert Vilahamn signed a new three-year contract with the club.
Vilahamn has impressed after being appointed last summer and led Spurs to the final of the Women’s FA Cup for the first time in their history, where they were beaten by Manchester United at Wembley.
Tottenham also finished in the top six of the Women's Super League for only the second time in their history.
Vilahamn has been rewarded for his fine work with a new contract that will run until the summer of 2027.
The 41-year-old’s previous deal was due to expire at the end of this season.
Vilahamn guided Tottenham to an eight-game unbeaten run in all competitions in the first half of last season and earned plaudits for the team’s style of play.
Under Vilahamn, Spurs have transformed into an attacking side and they will now look to build on the groundwork he laid during his first year.
