Tottenham have reportedly now reached an agreement with Sporting for the signing of Pedro Porro.
Porro has been on Spurs’s wishlist for the entire month with consistent reports from both the English and Portuguese press that an agreement would be reached before the deadline.
However over the weekend it was revealed that the move was off with the player ‘distraught’ after Sporting pulled out of negotiations.
However, there has now been a major u-turn with David Ornstein of the Athletic claiming that the deal is back on.
Ornstein claims that Spurs will now pay €45m for the Portugal international with just the paperwork to complete.
Sporting reportedly returned to the negotiating table after they found a replacement for Porro in the form of Barcelona defender Hector Bellerin.
