The most recent survey of South Koreans aged 16 to 69 gives Tottenham 21.4 per cent support - representing some 11 million fans - compared to 6.1 per cent for the second most popular club United.
United were in the past the most popular in South Korea thanks to the exploits of Park Ji-sung.
