Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly lining up a move for Everton midfielder James Garner ahead of the summer.
Ange Postecoglou’s side have already been heavily linked with a move for Conor Gallagher, with the Aussie keen to bolster his midfield.
Reports have claimed that Spurs are lining up a summer move for the Chelsea star should his contract situation remain unresolved.
But TEAMtalk claims that James Garner could also emerge as an option for Spurs at the end of the season.

TEAMtalk reports that Tottenham are eyeing a summer move for Garner, with the midfielder emerging on the north Londoners’ radar.
The Lilywhites are on the lookout for midfield reinforcements and the 22-year-old is of interest. Newcastle United are also said to be keen on Garner after an impressive 18 months at Goodison Park.
Interestingly, Spurs were linked with a move for Garner back in the summer of 2022 before the midfielder swapped Old Trafford for Merseyside.
The Englishman has established himself as a regular under Sean Dyche this season, racking up 30 appearances in all competitions. He has the required traits to thrive in a Postecoglou side given his work ethic and quality on the ball.
Previously lauded as a ‘phenomenal’ talent after an eye-catching loan spell at Nottingham Forest in the 2021-22 campaign, it’s no surprise to see Garner being linked with a big move once again.
It’s also encouraging to see we are exploring other options if Gallagher isn’t available this summer.

The Chelsea man seems to top Postecoglou’s list of midfield targets. But with the Englishman coming through the academy set up at Chelsea, he may be keen to stay at Stamford Bridge.
Garner has caught the eye at Everton this season and would represent a versatile option in midfield.
