Tottenham are once again being linked with a move for Santiago Gimenez, the talented forward currently making waves at Feyenoord.
The 2024 summer transfer window may have closed, but it seems Spurs' interest in the Mexican striker is far from over.
Back in the summer, we reported on the buzz surrounding Tottenham's pursuit of Gimenez, with sources like Fox Sports highlighting their interest.
Despite the rumours, the striker ultimately stayed at Feyenoord, where he had a solid start to the 2024-25 season.
However, with the 2025 transfer window on the horizon, speculation about his future has resurfaced. The 23-year-old forward has continued to impress, especially following his return from injury.

Most recently, Gimenez made headlines with a stunning goal against Manchester City in the Champions League, proving his value on the European stage.
This goal has reignited talks surrounding his future, with several top clubs reportedly keeping an eye on his progress.
According to MX Futbol, Tottenham, AC Milan, and Nottingham Forest are now considered the frontrunners for Gimenez’s signature in the summer of 2025.
The news comes as little surprise, given Tottenham's previous interest and their ongoing search for a long-term striker to complement their attacking options.
While Nottingham Forest was once seen as the most likely destination for the Mexican forward, reports suggest that he rejected a move to the City Ground in favour of staying at Feyenoord during the last transfer window.
Now, with his stock rising after strong performances in both domestic and international competitions, Gimenez’s future looks set to take centre stage once more.
With the imminent departures of Timo Werner, who will end his loan and return to RB Leipzig, and the highly likely sale of Richarlison during the upcoming summer transfer window, Tottenham must go all out for the signing of Santiago Gimenez.
Gimenez has already proven himself to have the quality needed to shine in top-tier European football, recently doing so, as we mentioned, against Manchester City.
Despite being injured, he returned in exceptional form and with a strong mentality, allowing him to shine and contribute to his team's comeback against City, helping them secure a valuable point in the Champions League.
There will almost certainly be other big clubs interested, but it is in these situations that Tottenham must make a statement and showcase their prestige and class by completing such signings.
Without a doubt, the Mexican would provide great competition for Dominic Solanke, although there could also be several scenarios where both are compatible and could play together in the same lineup.
