Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly placed their price for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg who is heading towards the exit door, with Inter Milan emerging as one of his suitors.

The 28-year-old cemented himself as a protagonist for the Spurs after making the move from Southampton in 2020.

However, the Dane fell down in the pecking order following the appointment of Ange Postecoglou last summer. The Australian manager prefers the likes of Yves Bissouma and Pape Sarr.

Therefore, Hojbjerg has been pushing for an exit since January. Many believe the midfielder will leave this summer, as this will be Tottenham’s last chance to recuperate a decent transfer fee since his contract will expire in 2025.

So according to TuttoMercatoWeb, the North Londoners have set their price at 15 million euros.

As the source explains, both Inter and AC Milan have inquired about Hojbjerg over the last few weeks.

Moreover, Atletico Madrid have been keeping tabs on the Denmark international for quite some time now.

The player currently earns 3.3 million euros per season. Nevertheless, the source believes he could be willing to lower his demands in favor of joining a new club since he’s entering his final contractual year and appears desperate for a move.

But it remains to be seen if Inter would pursue the Danish star given that Simone Inzaghi is already spoiled for choice in the middle of the park.

Despite his underwhelming campaign in the English capital, Hojbjerg remains a protagonist for Denmark.

The former Bayern Munich man should be in the starting lineup when the Scandinavians take on Germany in the Euro 2024 Round of 16 this evening in Dortmund.
