The midfielder said: "I had a talk with the assistant coach here the other day, where I told him on the way to training that it must be difficult to be a national coach, in relation to having three matches in six days, and the players come from matches the day before or two days before.

"It is very, very limited what you can do on the training ground, but the way we play individually and as a team feel ready for the matches and well coached, is top notch.

"At the same time, there is also an understanding that the players are allowed to influence the different positions, and this is something you as a player enjoy very much. It also means that we bear a great responsibility, and that responsibility is given to you by the coach, at the same time as you also get coaching, designs, ideas and patterns that you can play from.

"This was also seen here against Israel, where our pressure was really good at times. For the first ten minutes, they sat okay and moved the ball reasonably well, but never became really dangerous.

"But just the way we are set up for the matches and have variations in the game, is clearly the coach's gift. There is also the side of the coach that I like; that there is always room for improvement and to move on the little things. That does not mean that you do not enjoy where you are and that we do not take it in, but there is room to push for the little things."
