homas Frank says rumours linking him with a move to Tottenham are “flattering” but ruled out the prospect of leaving Brentford for now.
The Dane has enhanced his reputation once again and could lead the Bees into Europe for the first time in the club’s history this season.
They head to off-field rivals Brighton on Saturday level on points with Roberto De Zerbi’s side and could feasibly still qualify for both the Europa League and the Europa Conference League.
While former Bayern Munich manager Julian Nagelsmann is believed to be a front-runner for the Spurs job following the exit of Antonio Conte, Frank has also been linked.
Still, the 49-year-old signed a new contract running through until the summer of 2027 on Christmas Eve and has now reaffirmed his commitment to Brentford.
“There have been a lot of rumours about me over the last year,” he said.
“I don’t ever get used to it, but I would say in general it is always flattering that there are rumours out there.
“I have said before that I am very, very pleased working for Brentford. Happy here.”
Frank, however, did leave the door open to a potential exit in the future.
“What happens in the future, you never know. What happens in 10 years? Will I stay here forever? Probably not.
‘Even Alex Ferguson and Arsene Wenger, they ended their eras or their jobs at a certain stage. I don’t know, but I’m very happy right now.”
