Tottenham are making a deadline day move for Manchester City defender John Stones.

Stones has emerged as a late target for Tottenham, reports The Athletic.

That leaves Stones - also behind Aymeric Laporte in the pecking order - on the very periphery of Pep Guardiola's plans.
