Tottenham make an offer for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg

Tottenham have made an offer to sign Southampton midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.

That’s according to Sunday Times journalist Duncan Castles, who is well-known for his links to José Mourinho.

Castles revealed on his Transfer Window Podcast: “They [Southampton], I’m told, have three offers so far for the player, none of them are satisfactory, one extremely low at a financial level, and they have an offer of cash plus players in exchange, which I understand has come from Tottenham Hotspur.”

Hojbjerg has been strongly linked with a move to Spurs since January but it’s also thought that Everton are keen on signing the former Bayern Munich man.

The Saints are reported to want €40m for the midfielder.
