Tottenham Hotspur legend Glenn Hoddle has slammed the club after their loss to Vitesse on Thursday.
Spurs went down 1-0 in the Europa Conference League contest after manager Nuno Espirito Santo left 10 senior players at home.
"It's a very very poor performance," said Hoddle after the game.
"The attitude was wrong, they have to look at themselves in the mirror. There are Spurs fans who have travelled across here, they deserve better.
"But also there was a lack of ability. Sometimes you can say there was no desire or mental approach to the game that's one thing that wasn't there.
"But their abilities were poor today, there was no creativity.
"Nobody really wanted to run the game out there or stamp their authority on the game, and say to Nuno 1. 'I am your man I can get in your first team but also go and win this game, an important game for them.
"They weren't up for that test. I am very, very disappointed."
