Goals from Pedro Porro, Heung-min Son and Mikey Moore helped Tottenham secure a 3-2 win over Vissel Kobe on Saturday.
Scorers: Osako 9′, Patrić 64′; Pedro Porro 15′, Son 48′, Moore 89′
It was the Japanese side who took the lead after only nine minutes as Yuya Osako finished well to send the home crowd into raptures.
But their advantage didn’t last long as Pedro Porro linked well with Dejan Kulusevski down the right-hand side before firing in a low effort.
Into the second half and Spurs took their own lead almost immediately as Heung-min Son latched on to a Brennan Johnson cross before slotting in.
This topsy-turvy game then took another turn as substitute Jean Patrić came off the bench and grabbed an equaliser for Vissel just after the hour mark.
With virtually the last kick of the game however, the Premier League side bagged a winner through Mikey Moore.
