Tottenham Hotspur will entertain West Ham United at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this Thursday night as both sides look to get the better of each other in the London derby. Spurs managed to secure a 3-3 draw against Manchester City recently. Similarly, the Hammers were held to a 1-1 draw by Crystal Palace last weekend, so the two teams would be desperate for the three points in this Premier League contest.

Tottenham Hotspur Vs West Ham United: Talking Tactics

Angelos Postecoglu will opt for a 4-3-3 formation and could ask his men to dominate the ball and engineer enough clear-cut chances to win this derby.

David Moyes will set his men up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to instruct his players to defend their penalty box well before they try to expose the home team’s defensive weaknesses on the counter.

Key Men

Tottenham Hotspur

Heung-min Son will carry most of the goal-scoring burden for Spurs up top. The collective performance of Yves Bissouma and Giovani Lo Celso could go a long way in determining the fate of this London derby.

West Ham United

Both Kurt Zouma and Nayef Aguerd will have to be at the top of their game if the Hammers are to come out on top this Thursday. Tomas Soucek needs to have a good match as well so that West Ham can pose a threat on the counter.
