AC Milan would be able to match Emerson Royal’s current salary at Tottenham Hotspur if he agrees to a summer switch this summer, it has been claimed in Italy.
Royal has been a squad player at Tottenham under Ange Postecoglou and has made eleven starting eleven appearances in the Premier League this season.

AC Milan have identified the full-back as one of their top targets for the summer transfer window.
The Rossoneri are working on a deal behind the scenes and are reportedly convinced that the defender could be persuaded to leave Spurs.
And according to Italian outlet Calciomercato.com, the Serie A giants would also be able to match his current wages.
Royal is currently on a contract worth €2.2m per year at Tottenham and it will expire in 2026.
AC Milan do not see the wages as a stumbling block and would be prepared to match his current salary levels.
