In a recent print edition, Sport stated that Tottenham Hotspur remain keen on Barcelona wide player Raphinha. It has been stated that Spurs are eyeing a move to bring the Brazilian wing wizard on board this summer.
Raphinha has enjoyed a good run of form at the Catalan club this season after putting in a string of productive performances for them out on the flanks. The 27-year-old has scored five goals and grabbed ten assists in 28 matches for Barca during this campaign across all competitions.
The Brazilian wide player deserves a ton of credit for averaging 2.0 shots, 1.5 key passes and 1.0 dribbles per 90 minutes in La Liga. He has even been accurate when distributing possession in the opponent’s half after making 79.5% of his attempted passes in the Spanish top tier (stats via whoscored).
His current contract at the Spanish club will run out in the summer of 2027. Therefore, Spurs would have to make a big offer if they are serious about recruiting the Brazil international in the summer transfer period.

Raphinha has got the pace to cause a lot of headaches for his marker out in the wide areas. He can even create a few promising chances for his teammates in the opponent’s half.
The Brazilian talent can chip in by scoring and creating a handful of important goals for his team in the final third. He mainly plays as a right-winger but can also operate as a left-sided wide player if asked to do so.
We can expect Raphinha to bring more firepower to Tottenham boss Angelos Postecoglu’s attack. He has what it takes to challenge for a regular starting spot at the North London club in the coming seasons.
At 27, Raphinha is about to enter his prime which makes him a great option for Spurs to pursue at the end of this campaign. The Brazilian talent already knows the Premier League well from his time at Leeds United and won’t take much time to settle into life at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium if Postecoglu can devise a way to get him on board this summer.
