In a recent report, Calciomercato stated that Tottenham Hotspur are preparing a move to recruit Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic. It has been revealed that Spurs will have to rival Juventus in the race to acquire the services of the Serbian centre-forward.

Vlahovic has made an incredible start to this campaign after putting in a run of productive displays for the Florence-based outfit over the past few months. The ex-Partizan talent has banged in 13 goals and grabbed two assists in 15 matches for the Italian club this season across all competitions.

The 21-year-old has been a consistent performer as the focal point of Fiorentina’s attack based on his average of 3.3 shots, 1.0 key passes and 1.1 dribbles per 90 minutes in Serie A. What Will Vlahovic Bring To The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium?

Vlahovic is a moderately-paced striker who can make some decent runs with the ball in the final third. He can set up a few clear-cut chances for his teammates inside the opponent’s penalty box and usually packs a lot of power with his strikes at goal.

The Serbia international has proven himself to be a composed finisher in front of the opponent’s goal. However, Vlahovic needs to work on improving his link-up play in the attacking end of the field if he wants to be a success story in Premier League football.

Currently, Spurs can definitely use a striker of Vlahovic’s skill set as he could serve as a suitable back-up to Harry Kane at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. There is no denying that the Fiorentina whizkid will bring a lot of goals to Antonio Conte‘s frontline at the North London club.

At 21, Vlahovic has got the ceiling to become a future star in European football as long as he continues to improve with each season. Thus, Conte should consider getting the Serbian sensation on board when the transfer window commences at the start of next year.
