In a recent report, Fichajes revealed that Tottenham Hotspur are facing stiff competition for Club Brugge wide player Antonio Nusa. It has been stated that Spurs would have to rival Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City in the race to sign the Norwegian winger this summer.

Nusa is enjoying a decent campaign at the Belgian club after he produced a run of impressive displays for them in the Jupiler Pro League. The Norway international has scored three times and picked up three assists in 20 matches for Club Brugge this season in the league.

The 19-year-old has been a consistent performer in the final third as he is averaging 1.6 shots, 1.0 key passes and 2.2 dribbles per 90 minutes in the Jupiler Pro League. He has even been tidy when distributing possession in the opponent’s half based on his pass completion rate of 80.9% in the Belgian top tier (stats via whoscored).

Nusa’s current contract at Club Brugge will run out in the summer of 2027 which could make it tough for Spurs to win the race for his services in the upcoming transfer period.

Should Tottenham Hotspur Boss Angelos Postecoglu Snap Nusa Up?

Nusa is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet and can make some decent chances for his teammates in and around the opposition penalty area. He can shoot the ball with power and accuracy from long range and can chip in by scoring and creating his fair share of goals up top.

However, the Norwegian youngster has to find a way to improve his decision-making on the offensive end of the field. Nusa mainly operates as a left-sided wide player but can also play as a right-winger or as a centre-forward if told to do so.

Nusa would bring more goals and creativity to Tottenham Hotspur boss Angelos Postecoglu’s frontline. He is good enough to increase competition for places within the North London club‘s squad.

At 19, Nusa has got a bright future ahead of him. Hence, Spurs would be wise to try everything they can to snap him up later this year. He already has what it takes to help the London giants challenge across all fronts in the future.
