Tottenham Hotspur hold an option in Troy Parrott’s contract to extend his contract by a further year until 2026.
The young forward is currently spending the 2023/24 campaign away from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with Excelsior in the Eredivisie.
But an impressive season could see Spurs look to extend his stay in north London with talk of interest arriving over the 22-year-old.

According to journalist Alasdair Gold, Tottenham have the option to extend Parrott’s contract beyond 2025 by a further year.
It has been an impressive loan spell in the Netherlands for the 22-year-old forward who has been able to return seven goals and three assists in the league.
Parrott is yet to feature under Ange Postecoglou since the Australian’s arrival as the forward’s career is yet to really take off in north London.
But as he looks to gain experience away from N17, Spurs at least hold some security over the player’s future with this extension clause.

Parrott’s performances in the Netherlands are believed to have seen the likes of Ajax show an interest in him ahead of the summer.
The forward has struggled to make a name for himself across his various loan spells across the English Football league.
However, it seems this spell on the continent is doing his career the world of good as some of the Netherlands’ biggest sides begin to show an interest.
His former teammate Conor Coventry was clearly impressed with Parrott’s potential as he hailed him ‘quality‘ during their time together at MK Dons.
Whether he has a future at Tottenham remains to be seen with the likes of Richarlison finding form up top recently.
But having the option to extend his contract by a further year could allow Spurs to up their asking price if they are to sell him.
Alternatively, it could allow Spurs an extra year to make a decision on Parrott before feeling the need to cash in on him with one-year left on his deal.
