Tottenham Hotspur are working on a deal with German side Hertha Berlin to sign their exciting 16-year-old Boris Mamuzah Lum.
The German youngster is on the radar of the north London club and it is believed we have already welcomed him to N17 for a visit.
But we will face serious competition for the prospect’s signature with some of Germany’s biggest clubs also keen on him.

According to a report by Bild, Tottenham are making big steps towards securing the services of the promising talent.
It is claimed the 16-year-old visited the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for our game against Bournemouth late last year as he was shown the club’s facilities.
However, along with the likes of Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen, the report claims Barcelona and Ajax are also in the picture.
A deal for the ‘highly talented’ youngster is well within our reach with the suggestion his current deal has a €5m (£4.2m) release clause.

Although we have seen a lot of exciting signings come through the door under Ange Postecoglou, we have also seen some promising young players land at Hotspur Way.
We have seen this with the likes of Ashely Phillips – who is impressing out on loan – and the recent signing of Lucas Bergvall.
It is apparent the Australian is keen to build for the long-term as well as his ambition to provide fans more exciting football for the present.
Lum has been playing at U17 level in Germany with Hertha Berlin, but he was involved in first team training following word of his visit to north London in December.
However, the report claims the visit to our state-of-the-art stadium was enough to persuade him on the prospect of moving to Spurs.
