Tottenham have a new number 8️⃣

Tottenham have confirmed Yves Bissouma will wear the No.8 shirt from the start of the new season.

Bissouma, who has worn the number 38 since his arrival from Brighton last summer, inherits the shirt from Harry Winks, who has moved to Leicester.

Having greatly impressed for the Seagulls, the Mali international joined Tottenham for £25m last summer but made just 10 starts in his debut campaign for Spurs, largely due to an ankle fracture suffered in February.

With the appointment of Ange Postecoglou and a new squad number, Bissouma will be hoping for a more prominent role moving forward.
