Tottenham great Ardiles insists Nuno right man in charge: He plays the right way | OneFootball

Tottenham great Ossie Ardiles is convinced Nuno is the right man in charge.

Defeats to Chelsea and Crystal Palace ahead of the north London derby against Arsenal today.

Ardiles told the Mirror, via Casumo: "I like Nuno very much, I like his personality, I like how his team plays when he was at Wolves. It is too soon to judge him, he has all season.

"He has to repair a few things, more than anything else the confidence of the players because they were very, very low. So I imagine that he is doing that.

"We started the season very well, they have not had the best results in the last two games but there is a big, big game coming with Arsenal this weekend. There is absolutely everything to play for."

The Spurs legend added: "I don't want to compare Nuno with anybody, I would say that he would not like to be compared with anybody.

"Mauricio [Pochettino] did an excellent job with Tottenham, everybody agrees with that.

"He was with them for over five years and did an incredibly good job. After that, [Jose] Mourinho came and he was not easy for him to follow Pochettino.

"The change was needed and the change happened and now we have Nuno. Like I said, he has just started so we have to wait.

"We cannot possibly judge him right now, in time he needs to restore the confidence of the players and see how we go."
